As the summer heat beat down on us, a quiet little wind blew ever so slightly. However, it didn’t help a whole lot.
I glanced over at you as you sat on the swing beside me, petting that stray cat that seems to hang around here a lot.
“There isn’t a cloud in sight…It really is a pretty day, isn’t it?” I asked.

If only I could stay with you pressed up against me, one of my hands holding yours, and the other

The tests were passed back with worried glances.
“So, how did you do?”
The same repeated question,
as I just tried to block out the sound.
No need to ever tell.
Why would I?
The answer is 100%, as always.
But then you sat by me,
with that huge smile.
The one with a low score.
“What are you dreams?”
“What do you think your future will be like?”
“Aren't you excited about the coming days?”
I shrugged nonchalantly.
“Why should I care when I know what will happen?”
That person's face became confused,
